A better way to find financial planners
Warren Strybosch, the founder of Find Retirement & Find Aged Care, began his financial planning journey over 25 years ago. Warren was going to complete his accounting qualifications when someone encouraged him to consider doing a financial planning subject or two. During his studies in financial planning, Warren uncovered a sophisticated investment scheme, which was being run by a so-called financial planner who held a position of trust and power in the local community. Warren watched firsthand many people he knew lose their homes and retirement savings and these events resulted in many couples becoming divorced. Warren helped ASIC raid the scheme provider’s home and close down the scheme. Unfortunately, it was too late for those people in the community who lost everything.
From that experience Warren decided to become a financial planner to help protect people and help them make educated and informed decisions regarding their life savings. It was based on this experience that Warren decided to create Find Financial Planner.
Warren saw firsthand the misinformation and confusion that often exists when people are trying to ‘find’ the right financial planner to help them make informed money decisions through each stage of their life, because they don’t know the costs involved, understand their rights and entitlements, or the services that would be provided to them.
And so Find Financial Planner was founded to give everyone fast and simple access to ‘find’ the right financial planner for them. Find Financial Planner is an online experience that will help people search for their ideal planner who can provide appropriate advice, answer questions, help them manage their money, and guide them through the process step-by-step.
It is more than just a database of financial planners. At Find Financial Planner we do more than just list people.
